Bow Hut Peaks

March 11-13th Bow Hut Peaks
Difficulty: Moderate touring with glacier travel.
Prerequisites: Members should have at least an AST 1 course and some previous glacier travel
experience.
Description: This past summer the ACC spruced up Bow Hut
(https://blog.alpineclubofcanada.ca/blog/2023/9/27/bow-capital-project) we’ll head in to check
out the upgrades and climb a few peaks along the way. This trip will be three days with the first
day heading into the hut with glacier travel and crevasse rescue practice in the afternoon. On the
second day we set off on the ice and climb a couple peaks (options include Mount Olive/Saint
Nicholas Peak, Mount Gordon, Mount Rhondda, or Mount Habel). On our third day we set off
for a quick morning lap and then head back to Jasper. Â Â
