Moose River Route Multi-Day Hike

September 6, 2016 - September 11, 2016

Hike rating: Difficult.  Must be an experienced backpacker and have the fitness level to be able to hike long days.

The Moose River Route is a difficult multi-day backpack trip.  Starting at Highway 16 by Moose Lake, this 70km trail takes you through spectacular scenery from valley bottom montaine of the Resplendent and Trio areas to the sub alpine of Steppe Creek to the alpine meadows of Moose Pass, on the continental divide, to the Smokey River in Jasper National Park and down the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson where the hike ends. This hike will have long days of hiking over the course of 5 days/ four overnights.  We can be flexible to add an extra overnight if time permits.  There is a trail on this hike but some marshy areas have no visible trail and several river crossings are involved.  Overnights are at Resplendent, Trio/Upright Creek area, Slide Lakes, Robson Pass.
